This is a full-size carousel rocking horse handcrafted from solid wood and mounted on a sturdy wooden base with rockers and a gleaming brass pole. Adorned with colorful jewels and elegant detailing, this piece was crafted in the 1980s by S&S Woodcarvers of Santa Anna, California and is known as Diana's Large Carousel Horse on Rockers.
The horse features beautifully carved accents and vibrant trappings. There is minor paint wear on the tail, saddle, and head - small and subtle, barely noticeable in person. All jewels are intact, and the craftsmanship remains clearly visible and well-preserved.
This rocking horse is in very good condition.
It takes up residence in Denver, Colorado.
"The rocking horse has been a special part of our family for 40 years. It was a gift for my 40th birthday from a company that sold carousel music boxes. It commemorated that my business sold the most carousel music boxes in the US. It has been treated as a piece of art, and it is now time to pass it on to another who will enjoy its beauty and the smiles and joy it brings."
