Whitney Reed Glider Antique Rocking Horse

Rocking horse measures: 40 in. long x 30 in. high x 12 in. wide

Made by the Whitney Reed Chair Company of Leominster, MA, Circa 1897 - 1915. This is a hand carved glider or swinging horse with leather saddle and cantle, leather ears and bridle, original mane and tail, glass eyes, metal bit and horseshoes.

This piece is in good condition considering it is an antique and over a century old (all defects and details are clearly visible in the images).

It takes up residence in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.

"This horse has been in my family for over 25 years, and has been the subject of many family holiday photos. It is very functional and little kids love to ride it, even though is was made around 1910!"
