Circa 1904, from the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in Germantown, Philadelphia, PA, this striding carousel lion features a raised, fiercly roaring head with a deeply carved full mane and a spread winged eagle behind the cantle. The carving detail on this carousel figure is remarkable!

  • Nose to floor: 61 in.

It has been restored and in good condition with minor seams and cracks. All defects and details are clearly seen in the images. Currently it resides in Tucson, AZ.
