"I traveled with a friend to Ocean City, NJ when Gillian's Fun Deck was selling everything associated with the amusement park, as they were building a water park. Gillian's Fun Deck was located on the boardwalk in Ocean City.
We travelled the day prior to the auction and arrived early for the auction to register and view the carousel. Once the bidding commenced, there was one opportunity remaining for the carousel to stay intact, adding up all bids and adding a 20% fee. Unfortunately there was no buyer to keep the carousel intact. We were able to go on one last ride prior to the disassembly.
My friend and I got our horses. Gillie (my horse) has been with me since that day."
