Carved by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company, circa 1909, and professionally restored in 1993 by Wolf Restorations. Currently it resides in Holmdel, NJ.

This horse was once aboard a portable carousel traveled by the Royal American Shows, one of the only four portable carousels manufactured by PTC. The horse has glass eyes and a knotted wooden tail, trademark of carving foreman Frank Caretta.

This antique carousel horse is in very good condition.

Purchased from Guernsey's Carousel Auction, NY, NY on 8/8/92 for a price of $17,600. It was restored by Wolf Restorations in MD 1/19/93 for an additional $2,000.
