Carousel Horse Carving:
Chaffin Carousel Carving School offers classes that teach how to carve your own carousel horse, taught by master carver and sculpture Ira Chaffin.
Classes range from $500 to carve a horse head, to $1,900 for a large horse.
Instruction is also offered in carving other menagerie animals, such as an Alabama elephant, a lion, a giraffe, or cherubs.
